Overview of the position
- Full-time, W2 position
- Fully remote
- Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CT (the daily 8 hour workday can be adjusted after initial training to suit your timezone).
- Candidates must be legal residents and live full time in the continental United States to qualify for this position.
- Annual salary starting at $52,000 (see below for more information about pay and benefits).

Who we are looking for:
There are four core skill sets that we’re looking for in the candidates that apply for this position.
1) A working knowledge of how to use QuickBooks Online (mandatory).
2) Strong analytical and financial reporting skills, including experience reviewing Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements and using Excel and Google Sheets to organize financial data.
3) Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to connect professionally and personably through email and virtual meetings while delivering exceptional customer service.
4) Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple client accounts, stay on top of deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in every task.
We will likely prioritize candidates with experience in QuickBooks Online. However, if you are otherwise highly qualified, and/or have heavy experience in other bookkeeping software (i.e. QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage, Peachtree, etc) we still invite you to apply.

Bookkeeping Account Manager
The Bookkeeping Account Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for 25-30 client accounts while serving as the primary point of customer service. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, primarily through email, with occasional virtual meetings as necessary. The position also handles administrative tasks related to bookkeeping and client support. Additionally, the Bookkeeping Account Manager plays a key role in Bookkeeping Services and collaborates with other team members to support overall departmental goals.
- Manage 25-30 clients as their primary point of contact.
- Cultivate strong professional relationships with assigned clients while providing exceptional customer service to support their financial needs.
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including but not limited to downloading statements, categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, recording payroll, and generating revenue product separation reports in Excel.
- Ensure all bookkeeping and account management tasks comply with internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Identify and recommend new SOPs to management as needed.
- Conduct monthly file reviews of the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client file issues.
- Provide clients with monthly dashboards by scheduled delivery dates.
- Maintain and update client records in Salesforce including notes, tasks, contacts, and other relevant information.
- Update the Monthly Reconciliation List (MRL) as files are processed.
- Complete administrative tasks related to bookkeeping and client support.
- Respond to client inquiries via email within one business day.
- Schedule and attend necessary client meetings.
- Participate in all internal team and individual meetings.
- Collect W9 forms throughout the year and submit 1099 forms for all assigned clients each January.
- Notify the assigned clients' tax accountant each January after completing an in-depth review of the prior year, and be available for any questions or updates.
- Attend scheduled group calls.
- Collaborate with team members on bookkeeping files and projects.
- Manage projects related to assigned clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend and support virtual live events as requested by management, and any internal Evolved Finance company retreats.

Compensation and benefits:
Salary
This bookkeeping position starts out with a base salary of $52,000 a year with a salary progression of $55,000 and then $62,000 once the team member is trained and supporting a full client load. From there, the position has room to grow to over $70,000 per year based on performance and time at the organization. A Simple IRA with 2% matching is also offered. This means Evolved Finance will automatically contribute 2% of the employee's salary each year to their IRA, regardless if the employee contributes money themselves.
PTO and Sick Leave
All new employees start out with 10 days of PTO during their first year of employment. Their total PTO increases after 2 years of employment. They are granted 6 days of sick leave per-year.
Paid Holiday’s include: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, Native American Heritage Day, Christmas Day, plus any day the office is officially closed.
Our standard business hours at Evolved Finance are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST. During training, you’ll follow Central Time hours to stay connected with our management and training team. After training, you’ll have the flexibility to set a schedule that fits your time zone while meeting client and team needs.
